THE SIGNIFICANCE OF COLOUR
- PURPLE: The self, the Being I am: ‘Royal purple’ or ’the purple passions’ of wild romance.
- PINK: Unconditional love, forgiveness and compassion, ‘In the pink’ or healthy.
- BROWN: Earthy energy or grounded, ‘shitty’ as in to the colour. Colour often worn by monks.
- BLACK: Absorbs all colours and acts as a protection. ‘Fade to black’ - disappearing into the blackness. ‘in a black mood’ - depressed. In a ‘black rage’ - furious. black is also the colour of death, funerals, widows, priests, Jesuits or black magic.
