Dream: Nightmares

  1. That someone I love is in some sort of accident, for example, my husband is a taxi driver and he is always in a fatal car accident.
  2. That I am being chased by something deadly (usually some sort of animal) and that I'm calling out for help but never receiving any.
  3. That my paternal grandmother, who died when I was only 9 years old, visits me with regard to an important event in my life. For example, the night before my wedding she was sitting on the bench at the park where the ceremony was to be held. The other time, was when I was pregnant for the 2nd time, (hoping for our first child) and the night before my 12-week scan, she visited me in my dreams holding a 2-year-old by the hand and holding a baby in her arms. I think the 2 year old would have been the child I lost in my 1st pregnancy and the baby was her trying to tell me that the current pregnancy was not-to-be either, because the next day at the scan we were told the baby had a severe deformity and had to be terminated. These dreams plague me and I never dream of anything else.

Quentin's Diagnosis: For a dream to be truly prophetic, you generally will dream the same dream three times. You only have nightmares that scare the hell out of you, to make you more heavenly. Although the theme of your nightmares changes, they all point to your main problem, which is a conscious or an unconscious fear of loss and a subconscious fear of being a victim and unable to find support. An animal could relate to karmic issues and past life memory or your first memory of feeling alone and unsupported. Your paternal grandmother supports you 100% and those children are a significant part of your fear of loss. She's saying to you that they're not lost, they're here with me. Her presence in your dreams is assisting you to overcome your fear of loss, clearing the blockages of the past by facing your fears in the present and letting them go, to live more confidently in the future.
