- ANTS:
Colonies of ants, nests of ants, industrious as ants. To get 'antsy' i.e. as
'angry as an ant'. In Australia we have a few rather vicious bull ants that
can give you a nasty bits. We tend treat them with respect. See also

- BIRDS, CATS, DOGS, FISH, DOLPHIN, LION, HORSES, INSECTS, PIGS, RATS,
REPTILES, SNAKES, SPIDERS, WHALES (see "w"). Also see Australian Symbols in
DREAM SYMBOLS on the menu-bar. ANIMALS, BIRDS and FISH in dreams often provide us with a wealth of insights
into ourselves.
- BIRDS are also a symbol of spiritual freedom, often seen as the bearers
of messages. Eagles especially relate to awareness, hence the term 'eagle
eyed'. White owls are associated with wisdom, probably because they hear
more than they see.
- CATS - Feminine, sensual, sexual instincts, curious, aloof, mysterious
cats are said to be telepathic or psychic. A dislike of cats can be jealousy
or a possessive controlling nature.
- DOGS- Dogs naturally represent the masculine element, a more aggressive
nature with a loud bark and fierce territorial instincts. Dogs are loyal and
true, man's best friend.
- FISH - Emotional or spiritual issues. A school of fish moving in unison
with others heterosexuality. Early symbol of Christianity. Suspicious ie.
