BIRTH: Birth or new ideas or the fruition of a project. The self reborn, delivered from fear, pain or joy and bliss. Birth enters so many of our dreams symbolically, because it is for all of us, the most dramatic physical change we will experience in our whole life. Because birth and sex are so connected, we may have difficulty in our sexual relationships based on our individual birth experiences. Someone who went through a long difficult labour may find at times that they feel trapped in an intimate embrace. A forceps or cæsarean delivered person can often find it difficult to surrender, or let go of control. Coming as we do from the non-physical realm into the physical or material realm, in a symbolic way, women’s wombs are the door between these worlds, whilst men’s genitalia hold the essential key that unlocks that door.
