Prophetic dreams and premonitions can be very personal. Sometimes your prophecy relates to yourself, your family and friends (the inner circle of your life), yet at other times you might be tuning into universal truths, like the birth of a Royal or the insights of Nostradamus. In a waking sense, a premonition can be instantaneous in our daily lives. When you get a good or bad feeling about something then you heed your inner knowing. This can also be an experience of Deja vu, when we meet certain people or find ourselves somewhere which brings on the memory of a dream, stirring our senses into a state of heightened awareness. This is when you can learn from your prophetic dream, be alert and make the right decisions at the right time.
The synchronisity of events mirroring reality can be quite disconcerting. They can stun you or freeze you to the spot and then the fear of the unknown sets in. Once you get used to the fact that it exists, you are more relaxed as it happens and can be in control of your actions, with a state of knowing whether to be a catalyst in the situation or just turn your back on it.
Time can be hard to determine in premonitions and prophecies, although there may be signs within your dream. Your higher self gives you a 48 - 72 hour window of awareness for immediate occurrences. Sometimes it can be weeks or months before an outcome, sometimes years.
Recording your dreams as a means of personal instruction allows you to foretell your personal future and explore the many areas of the unconscious mind. It is also access to these types of prophecies dreamt about in your own life which can unfold weeks, months or years later. Be it a few days or decades later, the prophecy of future events would have been in a potential state way back when you had the dream, just waiting for the right moment in time to become manifest.
