Dream: There are a group of Aboriginals in a house dating back to the 70's. The Aboriginies are offering to mow everyones lawn if they can have their fireworks display. There was an expectation that everyone's grass would burn. I am a mere observer in this dream. They plant some fire crackers into the grass and then an Aboriginal man is on this flying fox of some sort. Stretched out between to wooden poles is a rubber cable with a length of wood attached. The man grabs on to the handle of the flying fox and launches himself along it till he drills a hole in the opposite pole with a drill that might have come out of his mouth. Then he travels back along the cable to the opposite end but this time something goes wrong. His lips get hooked by something and he is flung over into the pool next door. He is yelling out in pain. A group of two men and one woman run to the fence and hop on top of the fence to jump in the pool next door. I do not really see this because it is happening behind the fence. They carry him out of the pool and get him on to a trampoline back in their yard and the woman asks someone to suck out the blood and one of them does it gingerly because he's worried he might get AIDS. The man spits the blood out of his mouth onto the trampoline and I pay attention to the small amount of blood drying out. It seeps through the gaps of the threaded material of the trampoline. nb: I am not Aboriginal
Quentin's Diagnosis: In your dream, you are looking at the world in which you were conceived. The natives in a house dating back to the 70's are the twenty/Thirty 'somethings' generation of today...and you?. Ask yourself - 'Why did I choose to be born in Australia'? 'What does Australia hold for me'? Mowing the lawn can symbolise choosing to mow the 'other man's grass', to get what you want in the end, which is to have your fun (Fireworks Display.) Your overview shows indigenous and suburban invention and practicality. The Aboriginal man's agenda with the flying fox is an ingenious indigenous idea that doesn't work as he gets 'hooked on something', but is part of the ingenuity that this country pulls out of the people. Inventing ways of doing things with what's at hand, even to the point of making mistakes, like pollution of the land, water and air. When the aboriginal man hurts himself, they come to his aid. There are many ways of working together, enjoying the difference and supporting them. The Aboriginals in your dream supported the whites by mowing their lawns. Fear of death is a fear of life. Work for fun, paying attention to detail and if you make a mistake, learn from it. Your higher-self is forcing you to do what you want to do.. The trampoline is rhythmic, like a dance or exercise, it is cardiovascular, also pertains to the rhythm of life. Don't involve yourself in others dramas or your life energy will seep away like the blood through the fibres. The backyard suggests you are unaware as this is a hidden area about yourself. Keep looking within and share your energy around.
