Mia
Dream:
I have had 3 dreams that have stayed quite clear in my mind and they all somehow involve death or dying.
Dream 1
In the first dream, I am kneeling on some grass outside and a friend or family member (I think it may have been my mum) has a gun. I am asking her to shoot me in the head. I am very curious to experience death but am not worried because I somehow know that it will not be "the end" for me, that I will be reborn in some way. I also am curious as to whether I will feel any pain, and think that I will probably experience a millisecond of intense pain before death. The person says that they will do it but I wake up just before they do.
Dream 2
In the second dream my father has recently died. I seem to use this to manipulate others and as an excuse for myself. I am standing on the river (not alone, but I'm not sure with whom or how many people). I point out the direction of a landmark of some sort not visible to us. As I point it out, I am now there. It is like a mangrove swamp with old dead trees coming out of the murky water. there are signs posted coming out of the water warning against giant snakes and crocodiles. I can see the giant water pythons and am very anxious.
Dream 3
The final dream - I am at work and there is a new lady there. I am working in an office at a school (I'm real life I do work in an office, not a school though). I like my job but with the arrival of this woman I can sense change for the worst. She has a boyfriend that is always with her at work. My friends have all gone out somewhere (to a movie I think) and I see one of them when he gets back, he says they were in a car accident, everyone's ok, but adds, as an afterthought that "crispins friend died". I asked who was driving and he says "crispin" (one of my best friends). I am still at work and frantically trying to call crispin to see how everything is. I finally see him and he says our friend isn't dead and she's going to be ok. I notice that he was been beaten up and ask when/how it happened. He says that the new lazy in the office did it but I shouldn't get angry at her cause she was just upset that his driving cause an accident. I approach her and we end up having her thrown out of the office.
Interpretation:
Dream 1
In a reverent pose kneeling on this earth, you want questions answered, or to see the point to this life you are living. Re-incarnation into a wiser person would be the total renewal of yourself. Needing criticism from those around you to make the changes within yourself. You know right from wrong but people not telling you when you've done wrong it is not giving you that push you need to learn and change. This is why you might ask to be shot in the head. In life and death - No pain, no gain. Thinking about death, everything you learnt seems useless by comparison to your own mortality. You delve into all the questions we ask ourselves, like will I feel any pain. Ask yourself 'what am I asking of the people around me, is it reasonable?' You will wake up to yourself before this person has cause to put you straight, or shoot you in the head.
Dream 2
In letting your emotions rule your life or hanging on to reasons for feeling that way, anxiety clouds up your intuition. You know how to look after yourself, watch out for the crocodiles and know the snakes exist. The water python is a very special symbol, the dreamtime serpent. The great teacher and guide in our dreams, (see 'snakes' on our web-site in "dream reference" A-Z on the menu-bar, information also in Animals (A - Z). You are anxious at what or who is presenting itself to you at present. Cool your emotions and wait for clarity of purpose before making your move. Intuition will follow. This could be to do with family, with decisions to be made.
Dream 3
Learning on the job is portrayed by the office in the school. You have a different perspective on life and have changed a lot in recent times. I suspect competition from someone who tries to upstage you, talking about personal stuff (false security) boyfriend etc. is not to your liking. You worry about your friends. Your friend Crispin was there for you in the past when you needed him and now you feel he needs you in some way. Perhaps what he's going through is a syndrome of "all's fair in love and war" and he's taken an emotional beating from someone. Some people and situations are just car wrecks waiting to happen. Learn how to recognize and how to avoid the hazards and hazardous people by listening to the plights of those you love, it will be a good lesson in your own personal safety with the choices you make.
