Dream:I have recently had a dream that affected me deeply about my older brother who has been in the Navy for 2 year's and my younger sister who is 17 years old. In this dream they had died. In the dream I was the only one affected. My other younger sister who is 19 and my mum being in the dream were going on with their life after they had died as if nothing had happened. When I woke up I felt weird then later in the day when my mum mentioned my brother's name to my Aunty. I felt a little weird again even though I knew he was ok.
Quentin's Diagnosis:To dream of death is not meant in the literal sense. It's the death of the old self, an attitude, or old ways, take on a new ones. Being detached from your brother as you are brings up feelings of being out of touch with his life. You're not losing a brother or sister but more like watching them gain maturity, going from one level to the next, leaving childhood behind to step into adulthood at their respective stages. Bless your childhood memories and move with the changes. Perhaps you miss that male confidant in your life and need to replace him with someone you can talk to and be able to trust in their strength. You are closer to your sister by age than your brother, maybe you feel out of touch with her life. Your mother and other sister are at ease with the changes. There is such a thing as dream residue.
