Dream:
This was a dream I had a few months after the death of my father.I was asleep in my own bed and woke to hear my mother, who was visiting from England, in the bathroom. I asked her what she was doing, she replied "Looking for Daddy". I said "Oh Mum come here". She came and sat beside me on my bed and I cuddled her and reminded her that Dad was gone now. She was freezing cold and I said,"Oh Mum, you are so cold what have you been doing?" "She put her face close to mine and said "Oh dear you don't know do you" "Know what?" I asked. She then cried and replied in a real soft voice, "I died, I had a stroke, now I'm going to be with your Dad!" At that point I woke up, terribly afraid and was crying quite hard. I wasn't sure that it was a dream at first so I rang my Mum in England to make sure.
Interpretation:This dream sounds to me as if it might have a type of prophetic aspect to it. Especially since at the time you had the dream, it was so close to your Father's passing. In fact it might even be a timely warning coming to you either from your Higher Self or from your Father. However for a message to come from your Father, would mean that your mother was in distress and would be more likely coming as a message to you, if you were closer to him in temperament than to your Mother or other family members.
These situations do occur when the life partner who is now alone becomes distressed at the thought of a solitary life; or is at a loss without the daily focus of caring for some one else. A stroke will often eventuate because of a bout of hypertension that cuts of the blood supply to the brain causing some nerve cells to die. Other factors are arteriosclerosis, hardening of the arteries, so if you think she might be at risk, try to enlist the help of a friend or relative she trusts to have a medical examination. That is about all you can do when you are so far away and I know how much more difficult it is for you not to be close by.
Remember that when she is asleep you are awake so you might have even picked up on her energy vibration psychically, just at a moment in time when she was actually missing your Father. Hopefully when you rang your Mother she was perfectly well and this is only a timely warning. Some horrid dreams are based in unconscious guilt and if this is the case, all you need to do is put into action what you feel guilty for doing or not doing. You will probably be more in touch with her more regularly now, since having this dream. You might like to also send her love and energy from time to time while you are awake and she is asleep. There is always a strong psychic link between parents and children and depending on her age and situation, she might be about to embark on a totally new aspect of her own life purpose. This dream is helping you to prepare you for whatever she chooses and she may be feeling indecision about what life still holds for her.
