Dream: I had just split up with my husband that night and was pretty distraught. I dreamt I went back to our home and found him dead. He had shot himself in the head and I cradled him in my arms and tried to push his brains back in to his head whilst also trying to put our wedding rings back on. I woke up crying - please tell me what this means - it was very disturbing.
Quentin's Diagnosis: Don't be disturbed, it's a great dream that puts the situation of what you went through, into pictures. To find your husband dead does not mean literally, more that the life you had with him has died. To cradle him in your arms relates to the nurturing side of you, wanting to cradle what was left of your relationship. Pushing his brains back in would mean you thought he wasn't thinking with his head in the situation, or that things could be put back together in his head. You pushing his brains back in and putting the wedding rings on is you trying to put sense back into his head and keep the marriage together.
